HIGH BETA was well placed just off the pace on the inside, moved to the two path late on the far turn, rallied in the three path into the stretch, took over near the three-sixteenths pole then kicked clear, responded well in the final furlong and held under steady urging. CONSTITUTION ROAD bumped with a rival at the start, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, went around the far turn in the two path, came out into upper stretch and bumped with a rival, chased into the final furlong, jostled with a foe near the sixteenth-pole and got up for the place. PAPA GOLF angled in after leaving the chute, saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, moved closer in the two path on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch, drifted out outside the furlong marker, jostled with a rival near the sixteenth-pole and just missed the place while narrowly able to get the show. SNOOKIE BEAR was taken under tight restraint off heels early, angled in after leaving the chute, saved ground while reserved at the rear, was asked for his best in upper stretch and improved with late energy to just miss the trifecta. RETEKO went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked on the far turn, lost the lead in upper stretch and weakened. NO MERLOT raced in the two path on the first turn, settled towards the rear, went three then four wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch, drifted in inside the furlong marker and failed to threaten. COOPER bumped with a foe at the start, settled while inside to the two path, swung out to the five path at the quarter-pole and was no factor. LAIRD OF MAGNOLIA was bumped hard early, went three wide on the turns, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. RADAUTI made contact with foes on both sides at the start then was pinched back, went around the turns from the inside to the two path and was no factor. VOLATILE STORM raced in the three path on the first turn, was forwardly placed on the outside, came up empty while moving from the three path to the five path on the far turn and faltered. RED SEA went around the first turn in the two path, tracked the pace, chased in the two path on the far turn, was bumped and taken up while dropping back in upper stretch and capitulated. BURN NOTICE came in and brushed with a foe at the break, swerved out then bumped hard with an opponent early, rounded the first turn in the three path, settled off the pace, moved from the three path to the six path on the far turn, drifted inward in upper stretch and failed to respond.
