Footnotes
CONCORDE SPIRIT was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, took the lead in upper stretch, dueled outside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth, brushed with that foe late and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. HUMSTINGER broke a step slow, moved up to press the pace on the inside of the leader, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, took the lead passing the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, dueled with that opponent into the final sixteenth, brushed with that rival late and just missed while clear for the place. ISOMARSHALL stumbled outward at the start then bumped with a foe, chased the pace, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, lost touch with the leaders inside the three-sixteenths pole then moved out and weakened while able to get the show. TOMSCHICKENFINGERS was bumped at the start then checked in tight quarters, spotted the front several lengths, angled to the outside early then was hard ridden, gained in the five path on the turn, chased into the stretch and came up empty. THIS TIME YES was urged along off the pace, moved out near the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the two then three path, turned into the stretch in the five path, had the rider drop his right-rein near the three-sixteenths pole then drifted in and failed to respond. MAXIMUS MONSTER was hustled to the front, set the pace on the outside of a foe, moved clear late on the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, lost the lead under urging at the five-sixteenths pole, was taken up while dropping back in tight quarters into the stretch and had nothing left. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF HUMSTINGER CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST CONCORDE SPIRIT ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. AFTER THE STEWARDS' REVIEW, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
