COMMERCE COMET chased six then five wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole before being set down spinning four then three wide into upper stretch, shied out two paths near the eighth pole under a left handed crop, rallied continuing out three to four paths being shown a left handed crop and was up inside the final forty yards to score. NATURAL HARBOR hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside under some pressure early on, shook away to a safe lead in the turn, took the inside route into upper stretch, got let out at the three-sixteenths, dug in under a drive and came out six paths through to the finish to look the aforementioned foe in the eye and was caught in the final forty yards while clear of the rest for the place honors. SECRET RULES chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under urging from the five-sixteenths, angled in to take the inside route into upper stretch, kept on to procure the show honors. CHIEF RON chased two to three wide under encouragement from the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, made no late headway. SQUIRE CREEK coaxed from the start, chased four to three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. BACKSIDE BUZZ broke in at the start, chased along the inside coaxed along from the three-eighths, tipped three wide into upper stretch and tired. LEDDY chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch until tucked to the inside near the half mile pole, came under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go, went just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. SAGAMORE MISCHIEF coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide ridden along with five-sixteenths to run, angled three to four wide at the head of the stretch, faltered in the drive.
