GIANT'S FIRE broke out at the start filling the space left vacant by CONNIVING who also broke outwards, chased four then three wide down the backstretch before going three then two wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five then four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command nearing the eighth pole, drifted out under a left handed crop was corrected near the sixteenth marker, then dug in and held on over a late charging rival. CONNIVING broke out at the start bumping MUAZARAH, chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, drifted out a sixteenth out under left handed encouragement, then angled in and surged late to miss at the finish. MASTERWORK broke a beat slow and then got steadied at the start when losing his lane to GRAND AGAIN and conceded four to five lengths to the front, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn ridden along from the three-eighths, angled out six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. INDEPENDENT PAUL chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish. MUAZARAH was leaning on the off side stall when the latch was sprung, then got bumped by CONNIVING, who broke outwards, spurted away in hand along the inside opening up a commanding lead, had a rival take closer order midway on the turn and remained patiently handled, came under urging spinning just off the inside into upper stretch under threat, got collared nearing the eighth pole and tired. JAKE'S AFFECTION six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn and was pushed along from the seven-sixteenths, cornered three wide into upper stretch and tired. GRAND AGAIN broke out at the start taking over the lane of MASTERWORK who broke a beat slow and forcing that rival to steady, chased five then three wide under encouragement from midway on the turn, went five wide at the head of the stretch and faltered.
