STAKES New York Stallion Series S. Black Type - Thoroughbred
FOR TWO YEARS OLD ELIGIBLE FOR THE NEW YORK STALLION STAKES. All foals by Nominated Stallions in the year the foal was conceived will be automatically eligible for all of the New York Stallion Stakes Series races. Lasix not allowed within 48 hours of post time pursuant to HISA Rule 4212. By subscription of $500 which should accompany the nomination. $3,000 to pass the entry box and an additional $4,500 to start. For horses not originally nominated, a supplemental nomination payment of $2,500 in addition t o the entry and starting fees may be made at any time prior to the closing of entries. All monies to be divided 55% to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 12% to third, 6% to fourth, 4% to fifth and 3% divided equally amongst the remaining finishers.5 % of purses won to be awarded to the stallion nominator. 122 lbs. Non-winners of two races allowed 2 lbs.; maidens allowed 4 lbs. Preference to be determined by condition eligibility. Any ties will be broken by total earnings. A trophy will be presentedd to the winning owner. Closed Saturday, November 22, 2025 with 22 Nominations.

SUNDAY BOY chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, angled eight wide into upper stretch, rallied outside to take command nearing the sixteenth pole, then edged clear to the finish kept busy to the end. COMBAT MISSION chased five then four wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, rallied loosely between foes and seized narrow and brief command inside the eighth pole before being displaced by the aforementioned rival, ran on willingly well clear of the rest to secure the place honors. MUSCLE SHOALS chased four wide coaxed along from the three-eighths pole, angled out seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to garner the show honors. PARKER BOONE broke out at the start under coaxing filling the space left vacant by FROUTIEN, showed the way in hand just off the inside, got roused spinning three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught just inside the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. DINGHY BAR got away to an awkward start, chased four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths marker, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. HURRICANE KAZ forwardly placed four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn coming under encouragement three furlongs out, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and weakened. SPIRIT OF NEW YORK chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, angled out near the quarter pole forcing DIAMOND CHILD to steady off his heels, went six wide at the head of the stretch and tired. SICILIAN DANCER chased just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled out nine wide at the head of the stretch and tired. HEY PAL chased five then four wide under urging from the three-eighths pole, went seven to eight wide at the top of the lane, tired. FROUTIEN hesitated at the start getting away last and conceding five to six lengths to the front, chased along the inside and then just off the inside, cornered from the two path into upper stretch and made no impact. TAKAHAMA chased just off the inside under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch, made no impact. CHUMMERS chased along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, faltered, and was eased home through the final furlong. DIAMOND CHILD broke out at the start bumping TRUE LEGEND, chased three then two wide, got forced to steady off the heels of SPIRIT OF NEW YORK before heading five wide into upper stretch, folded, and was eased home through the final eighth to the wire. TRUE LEGEND bobbled at the break and was bumped by DIAMOND CHILD, chased just off the inside and then along the inside ridden along from three furlongs out, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, tired and was eased home to the finish.
