STAKES New York Stallion Series S. Black Type - Thoroughbred
FOR FILLIES TWO YEARS OLD ELIGIBLE FOR THE NEW YORK STALLION STAKES. All foals by Nominated Stallions in the year the foal is conceived will be automatically eligible for all of the New York Stallion Stakes Series races. Lasix not allowed within 48 hours of post time pursuant to HISA Rule 4212. By subscription of $500 which should accompany the nomination. $3,000 to pass the entry box and an additional $4,500 to start. For horses not originally nominated, a supplemental nomination payment of $2,500 in ad dition to the entry and starting fees may be made at any time prior to the closing of entries. All monies to be divided 55% to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 12% to third, 6% to fourth, 4% to fifth and 3% divided equally amongst the remaining fin ishers. 5% of purses won to be awarded to the stallion nominator. 122 lbs. Non-winners of 2 races allowed 2 lbs.; maidens allowed 4 lbs. A presentation to the winning owner. Closed Saturday, November 22, 2025 with 21 Nominations.

BRAVERTHANUBELIEVE was well placed just off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, was asked outside the quarter-pole, swung out to the six path into the stretch, chased the leading duo into the final furlong, gained to make a bid outside the sixteenth-pole and proved best under good handling. HOT CURRENCY disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, took a short lead late on that bend, dueled inside of DANIELLA MARIE into the final furlong, led until near the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken by the winner and outfinished while clear for the place. DANIELLA MARIE stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the four path on the turn, dueled with the runner-up until near the sixteenth-pole and weakened but was clear for the show. UNMIZTAKEN bobbled at the start then bumped with a foe, angled in early, was ridden along off the pace, saved ground on the turn and improved position. FANCY LIGHTS disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail while asked on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and tired. LIFEISBUTADREAM was urged along on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path, remained on her inside lead in the drive and failed to respond. KAZ FARM GIRL broke out and bumped with an opponent, was urged along towards the rear, went around the turn in the four to five path, turned into the stretch in the six path and was no factor. GREYJOY broke out then bumped with rivals on both sides, was urged along towards the rear, dropped from the three path to the two path on the turn and had nothing left. OH was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the rail to the four path on the turn, shifted back to the three path late on that bend and faltered. GALILEANS GIRL was urged along at the rear, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn and showed little.
