By subscription of $250 each which should accompany the nomination; $1,250 to pass the entry box and an additional $1,250 to start. PALADIN got bumped at the break by I DID I DID, who broke in a step, chased two to three wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths marker, went seven wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just outside the eighth pole, then edged away to the finish kept to task. RENEGADE broke in at the start squeezing out CONCARNEAU against IGNITER, raced three wide through the first turn and then five paths off the inside down the backstretch, went four wide through the far turn coming under urging midway, tipped six wide into upper stretch rallying in tandem with the top one, fought on to the finish to secure the place honors. BALBOA coaxed from the gate, raced forwardly placed three wide through the first turn advancing to latch on the leader into the backstretch, prompted DAY ONE STARTER from the outside down the backstretch and into the turn before taking over command three furlongs from home, got placed to urging just past the five-sixteenths, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat from a pair of rivals and was collared just outside the eighth pole, ran on clear of the rest to preserve the show honors on the line. COURTING broke in at the start and was bumped by CHAMBERSVILLE who recovered outwards from a stumble, raced two to three wide through the first turn before chasing four to five paths off the rail down the backstretch and through the far turn, went eight wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. GRITTINESS raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide at the half mile pole, came under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, went nine wide at the top of the stretch and passed tired rivals to the end. IGNITER got bumped at the start by CONCARNEAU due to pressure from RENEGADE, chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, angled seven wide at the head of the lane, weakened in the final furlong. I DID I DID broke in a step at the start bumping PALADIN, chased along the inside under a ride from midway on the far turn, angled four wide into upper stretch, tired. DAY ONE STARTER coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch and through the far turn under the watchful eye on BALBOA to the outside, had that rival advance and take over three furlongs from home and was placed to urging at that juncture, spun just off the inside at the quarter pole into upper stretch, tired in the drive. TALKIN four wide through the first turn, chased four wide down the backstretch and through the far turn ridden along from the three-eighths pole, tipped four to five wide for home and tired in the stretch. CHAMBERSVILLE stumbled at the start and recovered outwards into COURTING, then got steadied off the heels of a rival with eight and a half furlongs to run, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. CONCARNEAU took an awkward first step and then got squeezed back at the start, raced four wide through the first turn and then five paths off the inside down the backstretch, went five to six wide through the far turn and then five wide into upper stretch and trailed.
