Footnotes
GAME FOR IT stumbled at the start conceding between a length or two to the front, chased along the inside coming under a ride at the seven-sixteenths marker, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying through the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to prevail. SIXER chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn getting placed to urging at the three-eighths pole, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and offered up a mild kick to take command a sixteenth out, dug in and was caught in the final jumps to the finish. JUST TIPSY coaxed from the start, showed the way lightly coaxed along the inside, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared a sixteenth from home, then weakened in the late stages. SLAY SADIE SLAY struck the near side stall at the start conceding about a length to the front, chased three then four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, went seven wide at the head of the stretch and tired. FIRST BLESSING grew fractious in the gate and was backed out and reloaded, then bobbled at the break conceding a length or two to the front, chased two then three wide under encouragement from midway on the turn, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and tired. Following a shoe repair in the paddock, TINSELTOWN got bumped at the start and forced to steady briefly when WAITIN'ONASUNNYDAY broke outwards, chased three then two wide under prolonged urging from the half mile pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. WAITIN'ONASUNNYDAY broke out at the start bumping and forcing TINSELTOWN to steady, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch before heading five wide through the turn under coaxing from the half mile pole, went nine wide into upper stretch, trailed, and was eased home through the final eighth.
