FIDDLING FELIX was reluctant to load, settled on the outside, was roused in the four path on the turn, chased the runner-up under a drive into the final furlong, made a bid coming to the sixteenth-pole and got up under strong urging to narrowly prevail. ALIAS tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn, took the lead in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while just able to get the place. GUALILLO settled off the pace, dropped back while lugging out a bit leaving the backstretch, was roused in the three then four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path and finished with good energy to just miss while able to get the show. POP GOES THE WIZ was hustled from the gate, settled off the pace, came under encouragement late on the backstretch, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and finished with good courage for the last spot in the superfecta. MAGNANIMOUS MAX was hustled from the gate, moved up under urging to race just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, dropped back under a drive while remaining on his inside lead in the stretch, moved out outside the sixteenth-pole and tired. PRIVATE FLIGHT moved out early then was ridden along on the outside, went around the turn in the five path, spun into the stretch in the six path and was no factor. GYPSY DREAMING went to the front, angled in inside the three-quarter pole, rounded the turn in the two path, was asked outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way.
