BEST IMPRESSION broke out at the start carrying out QUEEN IN THE DECK into MOONLIT WEEKEND, established the front seven furlongs from home and showed the way in hand along the inside and then just off the inside coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, drew off under a drive and was kept to task to the finish. BROOKLYN DANTZ broke out at the start and was corrected, chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick to secure the place honors. QUEEN IN THE DECK got carried out at the start by BEST IMPRESSION and bumped MOONLIT WEEKEND, then was briefly steadied, chased along the inside down the backstretch before tipping two then three wide into the turn advancing on the leader, bid four wide into upper stretch, then flattened out in the final furlong while along for the show honors. MOONLIT WEEKEND lunged at the start and was bumped by QUEEN IN THE DECK due to pressure from BEST IMPRESSION, chased five paths off the rail down the backstretch and then continued five wide through the turn pushed along from the seven-sixteenths, tipped six wide at the head of the stretch and trailed throughout.
