COCKTAILSNKRINGLE was well placed just off the pace, chased while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid near the quarter-pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, dueled outside of the runner-up to the finish and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. MO FOR THE KING stalked the pace, turned up the pressure on the leader in the four then three path on the turn, gained the advantage outside the five-sixteenths pole, was asked for his best while drifting out in upper stretch, dueled with the winner, drifted out some more in the final furlong, battled to the finish and just missed while able to get the place. METATRON broke a step slow, angled to the outside of the field early, was roused in the five to six path on the turn, chased the leader in the stretch and willingly earned the show. TOGA DAN moved in while settling off the pace, was urged along in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick. GOOD BALI broke a step slow, settled near the back on the outside, was roused in the two then three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then moved further out and lacked the needed response. SENEGAL tossed his head and was off very slow, saved ground at the rear of the field, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, remained on his inside lead in the stretch and failed to threaten. EZ ROLL was hustled to the front, lost the lead outside the five-eighths pole then chased the pace, saved ground on the turn and tired. INCANTATION tracked the pace on the outside, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the four to five path on the turn and came up empty. MAGNI showed speed then prompted the pace on the outside, took the lead outside the five-eighths pole, vied in the three then two path on the turn, lost the advantage outside the five-sixteenths pole and faded.
