PARTY IN THE ARMY coaxed from the gate, dueled from the two path with CENTRAL SPIRIT to his outside, tucked inside at the half mile pole, remained patiently handled slipping away from his main pace rival midway on the turn, got set down continuing in the inside route into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive to prevail. CENTRAL SPIRIT dueled three then two wide with the aforementioned foe to his inside, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide for home, proved no match for the top one while running on to secure the place honors. DEACON BLUES broke in at the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, kept on to the finish to procure the show honors. LIFE'S TOO SHORT struck the near side stall at the start and then shied in a bit from DEACON BLUES while in behind that rival, chased three then four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, tipped five wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the wire. CALVARY HILL coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide under urging from the three-eighths marker, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. PURE MISCHIEF coaxed from the start, chased five paths off the inside until tucked to the two path with nine-sixteenths to go, tucked inside through the turn, went four wide into upper stretch and tired. BABY MEANIE broke out at the start, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide for home and made no impact. MUSIC IN MOTION coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch, tired. VIOLIN urged from the gate, chased three then two wide coming under prolonged encouragement from the half mile pole, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch, made no impact.
