IRON MAN IRA hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held well and safe to the finish. WHITBY chased four then three wide down the backstretch in closest aim of the leader, tucked to the two path through the turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung five wide for home and offered up a mild kick. GOLDEN PURCHASE chased three then two wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, ran on through to the finish. SUNDAY GILT coaxed from the gate, chased five then three wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, offered no response. BROWN DON'T STOP bobbled at the break recovering outwards, chased just off the inside down the backstretch before heading four wide through the turn coaxed along from the seven-sixteenths, tipped six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. GOLDFIRE broke open the stall door to the gate prior to the start, chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide for home and tired. ALBEDO coaxed from the gate, chased four then two wide under urging from the three-eighths, swung four wide for home and made no impact. BERNIE GOES BOOM chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch until tucked to the rail half a mile from home, got pushed along three furlongs out, cornered just off the inside at the top of the stretch and was unable to make an impact.
