PALACE BOSS was well placed just off the pace, chased while moving from the rail to the three path on the turn, was put to the crop outside the five-sixteenths pole, turned into upper stretch in the four path while under a drive, gained to make an outside bid near the furlong marker, took the lead while well out in the track outside the sixteenth-pole then moved clear under steady handling. UNDISPUTED bumped soundly with a rival at the start, moved up to prompt the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back coming to the quarter-pole, kept on in pursuit of the leader while remaining on his inside lead in the stretch and just got up for the place while unable to go with the winner. COUNTER MOVE went to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, shook clear coming to the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the two path, drifted out while under threat in the drive, was collared outside the sixteenth-pole and outfinished then just lost the place but was well clear for the show. VITALIZE bumped soundly with a rival at the start then checked early and dropped back, moved in at the rear, shifted from the two path to the rail while roused on the turn and failed to respond. DOMINICAN PIRATE was sent hard from the gate, came in a bit then was corrected by the rider, raced just off the pace on the outside under urging, dropped back leaving the backstretch, came up empty in the three then four path on the turn and retreated.
