SPOOL dropped in nearing the first turn, moved from the two path to the rail on that bend, settled nicely off the pace, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, saved ground under urging on the far turn, moved to the two path and put the runner-up in tight at the three-sixteenths pole then altered back to the rail, came through an inside opening to make a bid outside the furlong marker, gained the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. TONGUE TWISTER saved ground on the first turn, settled towards the rear, traveled around the far turn in the two path, steadied when haven her path taken by the winner at the three-sixteenths pole, was put to a drive outside the eighth-pole, found her best stride in the final furlong and finished with good energy to get the place. TRAIL OF GOLD raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was given her cue in the three path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, kept on in pursuit of the top two to the finish and willingly earned the show. SUMMER WHIRL rounded the first turn in the two path, settled at the back, went around the far turn in the two then three path, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, bumped with a rival outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the five path and improved position to just miss the show. BERTRILLE went to the front, showed the way along the rail while inside of a foe, moved to a solo lead near the half-mile pole, vied inside on the far turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the two path, led under a drive into the final furlong, was headed by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and oufinished then just missed the superfecta. FIRSTTIMEINFOREVER raced in the two path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, was asked in the two path on the far turn, chased in the three path into the stretch, dropped back into the the final furlong and weakened. POWER AND GLORY moved in entering the first turn, dropped from the four path to the two path on that bend, settled on the outside, was roused in the four path on the far turn, bumped with a rival while dropping back outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the six path then moved inward and came up empty. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF TONGUE TWISTER CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST SPOOL ALLEGING INTEFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. AFTER THE STEWARDS' REVIEW, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
