FELIX chased four then three wide down the backstretch from just off the pace, tucked to the two path through the turn and was patiently handled until let out angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied inside the final furlong in tandem with WORKS FOR ME to overthrow the leader seventy yards from the finish dueling to the wire and just got the nod on the line. WORKS FOR ME hustled from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside in aim of the top pair, got set down spinning four wide into upper stretch, rallied in concert with the aforementioned foe to collar the leader seventy yards from the finish, led narrowly dueling to the end and just lost the bob on the wire. FINAL VERDICT prompted the pace four then three wide before advancing tucked to the two path through the turn to duel with CIGARETTE BOAT nearing the quarter pole, tipped three wide into upper stretch, took over narrow command when roused with three-sixteenths to go, dug in under a drive coming under threat from a pair outside, got collared with seventy yards to the finish and fought on to the end. CIGARETTE BOAT hustled from the start, showed the way in hand three then two wide under some pressure from the aforementioned foe before tucking inside into the turn, came under increased pressure through the bend and was let out taking the two path into upper stretch, yielded the front with three-sixteenths to run, remained prominent to the sixteenth pole, then weakened in the very late stages. ALDER lunged at the break, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide at the head of the stretch, offered up a mild bid but was outkicked. BOLTAGE coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under urging from the five-sixteenths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, stayed on one paced through to the finish. SEAVER coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled five wide at the top of the stretch, trailed.
