HAULIN ICE was bumped by the outside rival at the start, had that rival come down from rearing and strike the rider in the head, disputed the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, dueled outside of the runner-up to the finish and gamely prevailed under strong urging. R DISASTER bumped with a rival at the start, contested the pace on the inside, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked for her best in upper stretch, dueled gamely inside of the winner to the finish and just missed while narrowly able to get the place. LESLIE'S ROSE bumped with a foe at the start, was well placed just off the pace, came under urging in the two then three path on the turn, chased the winner under a drive into the final furlong, moved out outside the sixteenth-pole, gained on the top two late and just missed while able to get the show. ST. BENEDICTS PREP showed speed then was eased back outside the five-eighths pole, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, was put to the crop into upper stretch, chased the top two in the drive, kept on willingly to the finish and missed the trifecta. ALMOSTGONE ROCKET bumped with rivals on both sides at the start then was squeezed back, settled at the rear, moved from the rail to the four path on the turn, was roused in the five path into the stretch and lacked the needed kick. SOCIALLY SELECTIVE reared up and hit the front of the gate just as the latch was sprung, was held onto by the assistant starter and turned sideways while dragging the assistant starter out of the gate to the ground, bumped with the inside rival in the process and made contact with that foes rider, spotted the rest of the field many lengths, galloped well behind the rest of the field, went around the turn in the two path and was eased but walked off. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START, SOCIALLY SELECTIVE WAS DECLARED A NON-STARTER FOR WAGERING PURPOSES
