Footnotes
GRAYWING angled in while hustled to the front then went clear outside the five-eighths pole, controlled the action while inside on the turn, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole then came under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. BRAMITO was hustled from the gate, moved up under urging near the five-eighths pole then was well placed, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased inside to the two path on the turn, kept on in pursuit of the winner in the stretch and finished with good courage to garner the place. DOT'S DOLLAR showed speed then was taken back near the eleven-sixteenths pole, moved to the outside of the leader shortly thereafter then tracked on the outside, gained in the three then two path on the turn, made a bid outside the quarter-pole, lost touch with the winner under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but held the show. SPUN AND WON settled off the pace, was taken in hand between horses near the nine-sixteenths pole, remained in hand into the turn, continued under restraint in the two path past the three-eighths pole, shifted to the three path while roused near the five-sixteenths pole, remained on his left lead under a drive in the stretch, swapped to the proper lead inside the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed response. BAD LARRY broke out and was last to commence, raced outside at the rear under urging, traveled around the turn in the four path and also lacked the needed response. CONCORDE SPIRIT dropped back while urged along, went around the turn in the two to three path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and failed to rally.
