ROTKNEE coaxed from the gate, chased four wide between foes in aim of the front down the backstretch, had NOVA RAGS come in slightly twice at the five furlong marker and the nine-sixteenths and was bumped by that rival into OCTANE which in turn forced RIDGEWOOD RUNNER to get pinched out, tucked three wide through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, kept on to secure the place honors. NOVA RAGS chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch coming in slightly and bumping the aforementioned foe twice into OCTANE both five furlongs from home and at the nine-sixteenths, the first time pinching out RIDGEWOOD RUNNER, tucked to the two path through the turn and came under urging near the quarter pole, went six wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish to garner the show honors. NELSON AVENUE coaxed from the gate, advanced to take over command from an early pace dispute among a quartet, showed the way briefly four paths off the inside until able to tuck to the two path once clear, tucked inside into the turn and remained on hold until let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, yielded the front with three-sixteenths to run and weakened in the late stages. OCTANE coaxed from the start, chased three wide and was bumped between foes twice down the backstretch by ROTKNEE due to pressure from NOVA RAGS and pinching out RIDGEWOOD RUNNER five furlongs out, continued three wide through the turn and came under encouragement midway, angled out seven to eight wide into upper stretch, then weakened in the late going. RIDGEWOOD RUNNER hustled from the gate, chased just off the inside in aim of the front, got bumped and forced to steady out when pinched out five furlongs from home by the aforementioned foe through pressure coming from outside by NOVA RAGS, came under prolonged urging half a mile from home, went three wide into upper stretch and weakened.
