Footnotes
LOOKS FIRST was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path while taking a short lead on the turn, shook clear late on that bend, responded well when put to a right-handed crop in upper stretch and extended the advantage under steady urging to prove much the best. DESPO'S DREAM broke out at the start then was hustled, chased the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and was second best. KAREN'S HONOR was hustled to the front, disputed the pace on the inside of an opponent, moved from the two path to the rail while asked early on the turn, lost the lead outside the three-eighths pole, dropped back under urging late on that bend and weakened but just held the show. DOLCE SERA dropped back after the start then fell well behind while settling at the rear, was urged along in the four then five path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the six path and improved position without threatening to just miss the show. FOXY CARA brushed with a rival at the start, chased the pace on the inside, saved ground on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. SHEZA BERNARDINI was urged along just off the pace, dropped back near the half-mile pole then moved out a path, went around the turn in the four path, dropped back into upper stretch and came up empty. LADY ARWEN brushed with a rival at the start, was urged along just off the pace while between horses, chased in the two path on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and capitulated.
