Footnotes
CERTIFIED LOVERBOY went to the front, was well rated while setting the pace inside to the two path, extended the advantage late on the far turn, responded well when roused in the three path into upper stretch, drew off under a strong-hand ride into the final furlong, was given one pop of a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed back under a solid hand-ride before being eased up in the final strides while much the best. CHILENO raced in the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, was given his cue late on the backstretch, chased in the two then three path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and safely secured the place. GOOD SKATE brushed the inside of the gate at the start, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the far turn, came under the crop late on that bend, dropped back into upper stretch and came up empty while best of the rest. MIKEALICIOUS was hustled from the gate, dropped from the four path to the two path on the first turn, settled well off the pace, came under urging outside the five-eighths pole, traveled around the far turn in the two then three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and failed to threaten. JACKSON HEIGHTS broke a step slow then dropped back, angled in at the rear, saved ground on the turns and was no factor.
