JODY'S PRIDE brushed with a rival at the start, was taken under a strong hold early then rated just off the pace, drafted behind horses in the two path on the turn, was asked at the quarter-pole while finding room between horses, gained to make a bid outside the furlong marker, took the lead inside that marker and prevailed under good handling. STERLING SILVER settled off the pace, dropped back while shuffled some behind HERE'S THE KICKER near the five-eighths pole, moved out while urged along around the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the three path, shifted to the five path into the stretch, chased outside into the final furlong then made a bid, battled outside the winner to the finish and missed while clear for the place. MY MANE SQUEEZE brushed with a foe at the start, bumped with a rival early, clipped heels outside the seven-eighths pole, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid with a half-mile to run, vied on even terms for the lead in the three path on the turn, poked a head in front just inside the five-sixteenths pole, came under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner inside the furlong marker and weakened but was clear for the show. MORNING MATCHA settled at the rear, was urged along in the two then three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then moved further out and lacked the needed response. HEADLINE NUMBERS was placed under a vigorous hold early, had a rival clip her heels nearing the seven-eighths pole, dragged her way to the front just inside the three-quarter-pole then moved in, vied inside on the turn, was asked under threat outside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage late on that bend and gave way. GUN SONG brushed with a rival at the start, bumped with an opponent early, was rated off the pace, moved out near the five-eighths pole, was roused in the four path on the turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and tired. HERE'S THE KICKER went to the front and led early, lost the advantage just inside the three-quarter pole, dropped back with five furlongs to run, saved ground on the turn and capitulated.
