Footnotes
QUICK TO ACCUSE bumped with a rival at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, ranged up in the four then three path on the turn, made a bid near the three-eighths pole, dropped to the two path while asked late on that bend, took the lead into upper stretch, shook clear under a left-handed crop while remaining on his inside lead outside the furlong marker, drifted out while still on his inside lead near the sixteenth-pole and held under steady urging. WAITLIST settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, pursued the winner to the finish and missed while willingly clear for the place. KEEWAYDIN bumped with a foe at the start, went to the front then showed the way on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage into upper stretch and weakened but was clear for the show. HERO'S MEDAL broke out at the start, dropped back early then settled at the rear under some urging, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, fell further behind the rest of the field late on the backstretch and into the turn, went around that bend in the two path, spun into the stretch in the three path then angled out and was no factor. BADGE OF WAR bobbled at the start but broke with the field, prompted the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the turn, dropped back under urging near the five-sixteenths pole and faltered.
