Footnotes
MATERIAL GIRL bumped with a rival just after the start, was well placed just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, chased under a drive in upper stretch, gained to get the lead coming to the sixteenth-pole then edged clear under strong urging. OUR PREFERRED PAL broke out but was quickly corrected while coming out in front, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths pole, came under the crop in upper stretch, led until just before the furlong marker then was overtaken while well clear for the place. FULL POUR bumped with a foe just after the start, moved out early then stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn and weakened while just able to get the show. EAGLE RISING prompted the pace on the outside, vied in the two path for most of the turn, was asked outside the five-sixteenths pole, shifted to the three path outside the quarter-pole, dropped back into upper stretch and tired then just missed the show. PATIENCE N GRACE settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, moved to the four path late on that bend and came up empty. FARM HOUSE settled off the pace, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, traveled around the turn in the two path and failed to respond.
