Footnotes
TRAIL OF GOLD was taken in hand early, became keen when tucked in behind horses then jostled with a foe into the first turn, went around that bend in the four path, was reserved off the pace, traveled around most of the far turn in the three path then dropped to the two path, moved out in upper stretch, chased under a drive into the final furlong, shifted further out outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped back to her inside lead and closed well to get up at the finish. MOMMY'S TURN tossed her head while keen under restraint early, raced in the three path on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, rounded the far turn in the two path while let out, was asked for her best in upper stretch, drifted in while chasing on her inside lead into the final furlong, swapped to the proper lead shortly thereafter, made a bid outside the sixteenth-pole, led while head-bobbing with foes one stride from the finish but was denied while just able to get the place. GRACE AND GRIT raced in the three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, took the lead into upper stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth-pole, drifted out and bumped with the runner-up late then was guided in by the rider and just missed but was clear for the show. NORTH END LADY was taken in hand early then reserved in the two path, continued in the two path while let out on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and improved position. SPIRIT OF ESTHER went to the front, traveled around most of the first turn in the two path then dropped to the rail, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and gave way. CARA'S DREAMWEAVER was taken in hand early, jostled with the winner nearing the first turn, was reserved near the back, saved ground while let out on the far turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch and failed to rally. LADY JASMINE rounded the first turn in the four path, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked with three furlongs to run, chased in the three path on the far turn then was driven into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. AMY'S LIGHT was well placed just off the pace on the inside, came under urging with three furlongs to run, chased inside through the far turn and tired. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
