Footnotes
TOGA DAN broke awkwardly then bumped soundly with a foe and was turned sideways, showed speed between foes then taken back off the pace approaching the first turn, dropped from the three path to the two path on that bend, moved closer outside the five-eighths pole then was well placed, came under urging near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased the leading trio in the three then four path on the final turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole then took the lead before the three-sixteenths pole, put away foes under a crop into the final furlong then extended the advantage while placed under a strong hand-ride to the finish. KAZ OIL CHANGER brushed with an opponent at the start, raced in the four path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, vied in the three path under strong urging on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under an all-out drive, lost touch with the winner inside the furlong marker and proved no match while showing good courage for the place. SOLO DANCING bumped with a rival at the start while brushing with another then was pinched back, dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, saved ground on the far turn, swung out to the five path into the stretch then drifted out under a left-handed crop, switched to a right-handed crop near the furlong marker and improved for the show. EXECUTIVE STYLE broke in then was corrected with a tug of the right rein, moved from the four path to the three path on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, moved up between foes while asked near the nine-sixteenths pole then made a bid, took a short lead outside the half-mile pole, vied in the two path between horses under strong urging on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a vigorous drive, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. DOMINICAN PIRATE was hustled from the gate, raced in the two path on the first turn, moved up to contest the pace on the outside, dropped back under urging with a half-mile pole, was hard ridden in the two path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and capitulated. COCO SUN bobbled slightly at the start but came out in front, raced inside on the first turn, contested the pace, lost the advantage outside the half-mile pole, vied inside under strong urging on the far turn, dropped back passing the five-sixteenths pole and stopped.
