COUSIN ED coaxed from the gate, raced four then three wide in closest aim of the leader advancing through the turn to intensify the pressure on that rival until taking over command near the five-sixteenths, swung three to four wide into upper stretch under a drive, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in under threat to the outside and held safe to the wire. ALZERO five then four wide in pursuit, came under encouragement with three-eighths to go, swung five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to steadily close in in the final eighth pole but was ultimately staved off to the finish. PRINCE OF DANCE brushed the near side stall at the start while under coaxing, chased two to three wide down the backstretch and through the turn, angled four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. PRETRIAL STATEMENT broke out at the start and half a beat slow, chased just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, swung three to four wide for home, kept on to the wire. OATH OF OMERTA coaxed from the gate, chased five wide under a ride from the three-eighths marker, tipped seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. DEAD AIM hustled from the start, chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, took the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. MAYBERN chased just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide at the head of the stretch, passed tired rivals. MOTEL PATEL hustled from the start, cut the pace from the two path under ever increasing pressure from COUSIN ED to the outside, came under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, yielded the front with five-sixteenths to run, spun three wide into upper stretch and tired. CADA DIA MEJOR broke in at the start bumping DOMINICAN THUNDER, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn urged along from midway, tipped out five to six wide into upper stretch, tired. DOMINICAN THUNDER broke awkwardly and then got bumped by CADA DIA MEJOR, chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, went seven wide at the head of the stretch and made no impact.
