Footnotes
UNCLE JIM broke in at the start bumping LOU in tandem with E Z BOURBON and forcing that barn mate to check, came under urging to establish the front nearing the six furlong marker, showed the way in hand along the inside through swift splits, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat growing weary late as the entire field closed in to threaten inside the final forty yards and lasted on the wire. SOCIAL HOUR coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch, kept on under a drive steadily closing in to the finish but was ultimately repelled to the finish. E Z BOURBON broke out at the start bumping LOU in tandem with UNCLE JIM and then got bumped by the force of that rival coming inwards from the outside, chased along the inside until tipped three wide at the three-eighths forcing HOT SPUN back to the four path after that rival just tucked in, swung four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. LOU got bumped between foes who each broke his way and was forced to check out at the break conceding four to five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased two then three wide coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and offered up late foot. HOT SPUN chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide into the turn and was nudged back to the four path by E Z BOURBON when placed to coaxing three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch, closed in through the final sixteenth outside but was outkicked to the end.
