TOUR JETE opened up a clear early lead, showed the way while well rated in the two path, dropped to the inside with three furlongs to run, was asked on the final turn, spun into the stretch in the two path, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, dropped back to the rail inside that marker, remained clear into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. ALIMARA (FR) bumped with a rival at the start and was a bit slow into stride, saved ground while reserved under a tight hold and unhurried near the back, remained near the back while caught in behind a foe on the final turn, moved to the two path while still un-asked outside the quarter-pole, was roused while moving out in upper stretch then gained between foes, found her best stride in the final furlong and finished fast but was too late while clear for the place. BOBBY JEAN was well placed while rated just off the pace on the inside, came under encouragement on the final turn, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and weakened while clear for the show. LINA (FR) was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, tugged on the bit while reserved in the two to three path at the rear, was roused on the third turn, chased in the four path into upper stretch and lacked the needed response. BERNT AGAIN followed the leader on the outside in the three path, was asked in the two path on the final turn, spun into the stretch in the three path, pursued the winner into the final furlong and also lacked the needed response. GOLD LIGHTNING bumped with a rival at the start, was urged to establish position early then taken in hand, saved ground under a tight hold on the first turn, was reserved in the two path, came under urging on the final turn, shifted to the three path late on that bend, moved out in upper stretch and came up empty.
