Footnotes
AINT NO JOKE showed speed between horses then set the pace, vied inside of MASTERWORK while along the rail on the turn, lost the advantage nearing the three-eighths pole, was urged along passing the five-sixteenths pole, responded well under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, fought on gamely with two foes into the final sixteenth, battled with the runner-up to the finish and prevailed under strong urging. KING MOONRACER was restless in the gate but came away in good order, showed speed inside of foes then was well placed just off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path early on the turn, was roused nearing the quarter-pole, came into upper stretch in the four path under a pop of a left-handed crop then made a bid, battled on even terms for the lead while outside into the final sixteenth, fought with the winner late and missed while clear for the place. MASTERWORK showed speed on the outside then stalked the pace, drew even with the leader late on the backstretch, took the lead in the three path nearing the three-eighths pole, dropped to the two path while asked later on that bend, came under the crop in upper stretch, fought with the top two into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while just able to get the show. SUNDAY GILT was hustled from the gate, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. SIN NOMBRE settled on the outside, was roused near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the five path on the turn, was driven into upper stretch in the six path and also lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. ARCADIAN was hustled from the gate, raced up close inside foes early, had his path taken then steadied briefly and lost position near the three-quarter pole, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, dropped back leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and lacked the needed response.
