Footnotes
WALLEY WORLD bumped lightly with a rival at the start, was taken in hand early, rounded the first turn in the three path, settled outside in fourth position, was roused in the two path on the far turn, rallied in the four path into upper stretch, closed fast to get the lead outside the furlong marker, drifted in while moving clear inside that marker and proved best under steady urging. WAR OFFICER traveled around the first turn in the three path, was reserved on the outside, came under urging in the three path on the far turn, gained in the five path into the stretch, chased the leaders in the drive and just earned the place. JUST FOR LUCK saved ground while reserved in the middle of the field, was roused on the far turn, gained into upper stretch in the two path then moved a bit further out, chased into the final furlong, raced between horses into the final sixteenth and just missed the place while able to get the show. PRIMED TO GO went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved in third position, saved ground while asked on the far turn, gained while cutting the corner into the stretch, made a rail bid outside the furlong marker, dropped back into the final sixteenth and weakened. LIFE AND LIGHT was sent hard from the start, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, came back off the rail onto the backstretch then followed the runaway leader, moved closer near the seven-sixteenths pole, gained in the three path on the far turn, took the lead into upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker and gave way grudgingly. FREEDOM TRAIL went around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, gained in the three path into upper stretch but flattened out and lacked the needed kick. NOSTALGIC ONE angled in at the rear, saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, was roused in the three then two path on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. FOUR TOP settled towards the rear while saving ground, was roused on the final turn, moved closer into upper stretch but lacked the needed response. BEST BET bumped lightly with a foe at the start, was hustled to the front then went clear, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, opened up a big advantage through quick fractions, shortened stride in the two path on the far turn, lost the lead into upper stretch and tired.
