OUTER TURF FOR THREE YEAR OLDS ELIGIBLE FOR THE NEW YORK STALLION STAKES. Lasix not allowed within 48 hours of post time pursuant to HISA Rule 4212. Only foals by Nominated Stallions will be eligible for all of the New York Stallion Stakes Series races. B y subscription of $150 each which should accompany the nomination. $750 to pass the entry box and an additional $750 to start. For horses not originally nominated, a supplemental nomination payment of $750 in addition to the entry and starting fees may be made at any time prior to the closing of entries. The purse to be divided 55% to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 12% to third, 6% to fourth, 4% to fifth and 3% divided equally amongst the remaining finishers. 5% of purses won to be awarded to th e stallion nominator. 122 lbs. Non-winners of a Sweepstakes on the turf allowed 2 lbs.; of a race other than maiden, claiming or starter on the turf allowed 4 lbs. Any horse entered as a main track only runner will be assigned the high weight. A trophy w ill be presented to the winning owner. FRIEND OFTHE DEVIL broke out at the start, established the front five furlongs from home and showed the way in hand along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, got let out spinning two to three wide into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to prevail. RIVER OF TIME broke out at the start bumping I'M DUE, chased along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, ran on to chase the winner home clear of the rest and along second best. I'M DUE got bumped at the start by RIVER OF TIME, who broke outwards, chased just off the inside under a ride from the three-eighths marker, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, kept on to secure the show honors. DANCING BEAR broke out at the start, led briefly but was eased off to concede the front near the five furlong marker, chased two to three wide in closest aim of the leader coming under urging with five-sixteenths to go, went three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. STROBE LIGHT broke out at the start, chased along the inside under a ride from the three-eighths pole, angled four wide into upper stretch, trailed throughout.
