DARK MAGIC established a forward position early, moved in outside the three-quarter pole then was rated just off the pace, went around the turn in the two path while let out some, was roused at the quarter-pole then chased under a drive in upper stretch, gained to make a bid outside the furlong marker, took the lead just inside that marker, battled with multiple foes into the final sixteenth and prevailed under strong urging. KINGS AND QUEENS settled off the early pace, took an awkward stride approaching the three-quarter pole then was placed under restraint, angled from the inside to the five path while roused on the turn, rallied outside to make a bid near the eighth-pole, fought outside of multiple foes into the final sixteenth and missed while able to get the place. OMAHA PISTOL was bumped at the start then went to the front, moved in outside the three-quarter pole while showing the way, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the turn, was asked late on that bend, came under a drive in upper stretch, led into the final furlong then was overtaken while able to get the show.
