Footnotes
SWEET SERAPHINE stumbled at the start, recovered to race four then three wide in pursuit isolated between the pace dispute up front and one lone rival behind, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, angled six wide into upper stretch, closed well through the stretch showing good courage to just get up on the wire in the final jump. DRY POWDER coaxed from the gate, vied three wide down the backstretch loosely between foes as PINK RUBY remained separated by two then one path, tucked to the two path and was flanked by those same rivals as they knocked heads for command, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, seized the front with three-sixteenths to go and edged away briefly, dug in under lone threat and was nailed on the line. CAT CHAT bobbled at the break and was away last, chased just off the inside detached from the main body of the field at the tail of it, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, shied out under a left handed crop three paths straightened away and offered up a mild kick to kick on belatedly to the finish. PINK RUBY vied six then five paths off the inside down the backstretch leaving two then one path of separation between her and her nearest pace rival, tucked three wide into the turn and got shoulder to shoulder with DRY POWDER vying outside that same pair of foes through the turn coming under a ride three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch, dug in and was shaken off a furlong out, then weakened in the late stages. MAZAYAAT coaxed from the gate, vied from the two path down the backstretch inside a pair of rivals, tucked inside through the turn and clung to command coming under urging with five-sixteenths to run, took the inside route into upper stretch, yielded the front at the three-sixteenths and weakened in the final furlong.
