WARALO showed speed from the outside then angled in, moved to the lead coming to the five-eighths pole then went clear, raced in the two path on the turn, was challenged near the five-sixteenths pole then was asked outside the quarter-pole, responded well under a strong hand-ride while battling inside of POWER ATTCK in upper stretch, disposed of that foe inside the furlong marker then was quickly challenged by SET, battled determinedly with that foe to the finish and prevailed under a continued strong hand-ride. SET settled on the outside, was roused in the two path on the turn, rallied in the four path into the stretch, closed well to make a bid just inside the furlong marker, battled outside of the winner to the finish and was denied while clear for the place. VACATION DANCE settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, moved out under a left-handed crop in upper stretch and narrowly earned the show while no match for the top two. CLANCY FANCY dropped back after the start, settled at the rear, was roused in the two then three path on the turn, came out to the six path into the stretch, remained on his inside lead until near the furlong marker, moved in at that same point and improved position to just miss the show. POWER ATTACK was hustled from the gate, held the lead early then lost the advantage outside the five-eighths pole, tracked the pace from that point, gained on the leader in the three path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, battled outside of the winner under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. YARROW settled towards the rear, was urged along in the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. SEAVER dropped back after the start, settled outside under some urging, was asked for more in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and failed to rally.
