Footnotes
SPIRIT DRAGON showed speed between foes then set the pace on the inside of an opponent, vied inside on the turn on the turn, spun into the stretch in the two path then was put to a drive, battled with the runner-up into the final furlong, shook off that foe outside the sixteenth-pole and moved clear under steady urging to prove best. SENOR PONCHO stalked the pace on the outside, ranged up in the four path to make a bid on the turn, was asked while on even terms for the lead at the quarter-pole, battled outside the winner under a drive until outside the sixteenth-pole then was outfinished while clear for the place. GREY ACE was away alertly from the inside post, showed speed then chased the pace, traveled around the turn in the two path, swung out to the five path into upper stretch, pursued the top two while remaining on his inside lead in the drive and weakened while best of the rest. REMEMBER THE CHIEF broke a bit awkwardly then brushed with a foe, angled in early on the backstretch, settled under some urging, was roused in the two path on the turn, moved to the three path late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the five path and came up empty. ADMIRAL INDY was hard ridden towards the rear, moved closer late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the five path and had nothing left. MY SWAGG DADDY LOU broke in then brushed the gate and was off slow, spotted the front several lengths, angled quickly to the outside, gained in the four then five path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the seven path and failed to respond. HOPPERTUNITY WU broke a bit awkwardly then brushed with a rival, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in the four path into the stretch, moved in outside the furlong marker and capitulated.
