Footnotes
IRON MAX bumped the hindquarters of a foe and was off slow, went around the first turn in the three path, settled outside without cover, advanced with a half-mile to run, gained to make a bid at the three-eighths pole, vied in the three path on the far turn, took the lead at the quarter-pole, battled outside of the runner-up under a drive into the final furlong, shook off that foe near the sixteenth-pole and drew clear under steady urging. MAKEYOURMOMENT moved in while going to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside on the first turn, showed the way with a clear advantage, was challenged near the three-eighths pole then asked on the far turn, lost the lead to the winner at the quarter-pole, spun off the rail into the stretch, battled inside of the winner until near the sixteenth-pole then proved no match while clear for the place. G FIVE bobbled at the start then brushed with a foe, rounded the first turn in the two path, followed the solo leader from second, was asked while inside on the far turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but held the show. BIG BROWN DELIVERS was bumped in the hindquarters at the start, tossed his head leaving the chute, saved ground on the first turn, was rated off the pace, came under urging near the three-eighths pole, went around the far turn in the two then three path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and also weakened. ATATURK brushed with a rival at the start, was taken under a tight hold leaving the chute, rounded the first turn in the two path, came under urging early on the backstretch, traveled around the far turn in the two path, spun into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed response. SWEET TONE bumped with a rival at the start, went around the opening bend in the two path, settled off the pace, was asked near the half-mile pole, rounded the far turn in the two then three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and failed to respond. SMALLCHANGEGEEP was taken back early while crowded a bit along the rail, saved ground on the first turn, came under encouragement on the backstretch, raced inside on the far turn, moved off the rail into the stretch and was no factor. DOMINICAN PIRATE bumped with an opponent at the start then was hustled, settled on the inside, was urged along late on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and came up empty.
