BARNSTORMING settled on the inside, was roused near the quarter-pole, chased under a drive into the final furlong, gained to make a bid outside the sixteenth-pole and got up in the final strides to prevail. KID KREESA went to the front, showed the way on the inside with a clear advantage, was asked coming to the quarter-pole then spun off the rail into the stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. ROHAN steadied while squeezed back between horses early, raced in the three path on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, came under urging in the three then four path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the five path, gained outside into the final furlong, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and finished willingly for the show. PATRICK'S PROMISE dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, settled off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, was roused inside the five-sixteenths pole, shifted into the three path at the quarter-pole, dropped inward in upper stretch and improved position.
