MAYBERN coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a sixteenth out, then inched away to the finish. ORIE three then two wide in pursuit, came under encouragement three furlongs out, swung three then two wide into upper stretch, rallied to take brief command just outside the sixteenth marker before being displaced at that station and ran on to preserve the place honors clear of the rest on the line. THE COMMISH pressed the pace of NYIKOS from the outside three then two wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in rallying to take command a furlong out, got collared on the way to the sixteenth pole, then kept on clear for the show honors. CADA DIA MEJOR chased three then two wide coming under urging at the three-eighths marker, spun three wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced in the late stages. OUT OF THE FOG got bumped at the start by WIND DANCER, who broke out a step, chased along the inside under coaxing from three furlongs out, took the inside route into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the finish. MOTEL PATEL coaxed from the start, chased two then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. NYIKOS coaxed from the gate, cut the pace under pressure from THE COMMISH to the outside, took the inside route into upper stretch, got collared a furlong out and weakened through to the finish. WIND DANCER broke out a step at the start bumping OUT OF THE FOG, chased along the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths, spun two to three wide for home and made no impact. ALL APAULOGIES chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, made no impact. DEAD AIM stumbled badly at the start and lost the rider, got apprehended by the outrider after the finish, and walked off under his own power.
