Footnotes
BRYANT AND COOPER broke in and bumped with a foe, went around the first turn in the two path, settled towards the rear, was asked near the three-eighths pole, traveled around the far turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path, moved out while gaining near the furlong marker then rallied outside, closed well coming to the sixteenth-pole, drifted in at that point then paused off heels before being corrected to the outside and got up to prevail. JUST ONE MORE quickly sped clear while well off the inside early then opened up, rounded the first turn in the three path, showed the way through solid fractions while off the inside, traveled around the far turn in the two path, was asked near the quarter-pole then turned into the stretch in the three path, responded well when put to the crop around the three-sixteenths pole, led into the final sixteenth, came out slightly at that point and was denied in the final strides. NIGHT JASMINE bumped with foes on both sides at the start, moved out leaving the chute then dropped back in, saved ground on the first turn, settled towards the front, moved closer in the three path on the far turn, was roused in the four path at the quarter-pole, chased inside of a rival in upper stretch, bumped with that foe outside the furlong marker, moved in while gaining outside the sixteenth-pole then made a bid, fought with multiple opponents to the finish and missed while able to get the show. ON A SUMMER DAY established a forward position early, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, followed the clear leader down the backstretch, ranged up while moving from the rail to the two path on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then chased under a drive in upper stretch, gained to make a bid at the sixteenth-pole but was outfinished late and missed the trifecta. AMAZING GRACER lunged at the start and was off a bit slow, went around the first turn in the three path, settled on the outside, gained while roused in the four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path, bumped with a rival while chasing the leader outside the furlong marker, continued to chase into the final sixteenth and was lacked the needed kick. SASSETTI broke out hit the gate then bumped with a foe, settled in the two path while between horses, was roused near the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the far turn in the two path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved in while chasing near the furlong marker, lacked room behind a rival in the final sixteenth and missed the superfecta. LEONORA'S SECRET settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. THE GAEL dropped in before the first turn, saved ground on that bend, settled at the rear, came under urging with a half-mile to run, rounded most of the far turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path while under the crop and was no factor.
