CONTRARY THINKING was taken under a snug hold early, easily went to the front late in the chute, was well rated while setting the pace, vied inside on the turn, responded well asked after turning into upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop and was given one pop while drawing off outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a solid hand-ride to the finish while much the best. CHILENO stalked the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, was given his cue outside the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, chased the winner into the final furlong and proved no match while able to get the place. HOP SING went to the front and led early, conceded the lead late in the chute then prompted on the inside, dropped just off the pace outside the five-eighths pole, moved from the rail to the three path near the three-eighths pole, was asked at the five-sixteenths pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive, chased into the final furlong and weakened while able to get the show. TUSCAN GOLD dropped back after the start, settled on the inside, was roused on the turn, swung out in the four path into upper stretch and lacked the needed response. FRIZZANTE dropped back after the break, settled under some urging, moved from the two path to the three path under a strong hand-ride early on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path and came up empty.
