PATRIOT SPIRIT disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the three then four path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, took the lead while asked for his best in upper stretch, shook clear outside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. CRAZY MASON was last to commence, raced towards the rear under urging, dropped from the three path to the two path on the turn, found his best stride in the final furlong and finished fast to get the place. SCOTLAND settled off the pace, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, gained while inside for most of the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, shifted out in upper stretch then was put to a drive, chased in a good striking range into the final furlong but lacked the needed kick and missed the place while narrowly able to get the show. DOC SULLIVAN was hustled from the gate, chased the pace down the backstretch, moved from the two path to the five path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, pursued the winner while outside into the final furlong and also lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. LIGHT THE WAY broke in then was hustled, disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, vied in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch, battled under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. NASH settled off the pace, was roused in the two then three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. THE GOLDEN GORILLA brushed with an opponent at the start, settled at the rear, saved ground under urging on the turn and failed to threaten. BABY YODA brushed with a rival at the start, chased the leader on the outside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the four then five path and faltered.
