Footnotes
STAMP OF APPROVAL went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, responded well when put to a right-handed crop at the furlong marker and held under strong urging. TUCK CHECK angled in early, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was held up behind traffic late on the far turn, swung into the five path while roused at the quarter-pole, moved further out near the furlong marker, rallied on the outside, drifted in while gaining late and missed while up for the place. BROADWAY LIGHTS angled in early, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn and improved to get the show. COMPETITIVE THREAT (IRE) settled on the inside, was held up behind horses late on the turn and into upper stretch, found room then was roused inside the three-sixteenths pole and finished willingly. WAR SIREN (FR) had a shoe repaired in the paddock, went around the opening bend in the two path, settled on the outside, was asked in the three path on the far turn and lacked the needed kick. TURF ROCKET was last away, saved ground on the first turn, settled near the middle of the field, was roused in the two then three path on the far turn and lacked the needed response. AVISO saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, went around the far turn in the two path, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. VICTORIA'S DANCER tossed hear head some at the start but broke with the body of the field, dropped back in tight quarters early, raced in the three path on the turns, swung out to the six path into the stretch and was no factor. BLAME THE BANKER raced in the two path on the first turn, settled outside in the second flight, rounded the far turn in the two path, steadied in traffic near the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. SASSY PRINCESS saved ground towards the rear, was put to a drive in upper stretch and failed to threaten. ARTISTIC SUCCESS was rated on the inside, came under some urging on the far turn, chased into upper stretch and came up empty. BEDFORD THE BRAVE raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, chased into the stretch and faltered.
