Following a nineteen minute delay necessitated when a trio of horses grew fractious in the gate requiring late scratches in addition to a rider being attended to by medical, SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN established the front and spurted away on the pace along the inside, remained patiently handled and took the inside route into upper stretch, got roused a furlong from home and held clear kept to task to the finish. CALLING CARD broke in at the start brushing DEEMER who in turn brushed POWERED BY COAL, tracked the pace along the inside from afar, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and closed well to the finish to secure the place honors. TRINITY RIVER brushed the near side stall at the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. DEEMER broke a half a beat slow and inwards and brushed POWERED BY COAL after being brushed by CALLING CARD, chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung three to four wide for home and kept on to the finish. POWERED BY COAL got brushed at the start by the aforementioned foe, chased two then three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, went six wide into upper stretch, made ground while making no headway positionally to the finish. TWOHONESTMISCHIEF three wide through the first turn, chased four wide ridden along from the three-eighths, continued four wide into upper stretch and weakened. BIGFOOT SIGHTING tossed his head at the start getting away awkward, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and made no impact. JUST CLARITY chased two to three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung three wide for home, tired. GUNNER'S GOLD broke a half a beat slow and brushed the near side stall at the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, took the inside route into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
