AUSSIE GIRL (IRE) tracked along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, got roused spinning three wide into upper stretch, seized command straightened away, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to score. TAX IMPLICATIONS (GB) settled just off the inside near the rear of the field, got roused angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied through the stretch to issue a challenge inside the final furlong but was ultimately rebuffed to the wire. FEATHER BOA (SAF) saved ground at the tail of the field, remained patiently handled until let out angled six wide at the head of the stretch, kicked on belatedly to garner the show honors. EDICT (ARG) broke out at the start bumping CONI FIZZ, settled just off the inside in pursuit from mid pack, tucked inside through the far turn and came under urging with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and ran on through to the finish. MRS. GAMBOLINI two to three wide in pursuit, got set down angled four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. CONI FIZZ (ARG) got bumped at the start by EDICT, who broke outwards, pulled eager early on and went three wide through the first turn, had the rider attempt to throttle down his charge into the backstretch and continued to pull unsettled just off the inside, went two to three wide through the far turn and had the field advance and came under threat near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and yielded the front straightened away, then was lightly hand ridden while weakening through to the wire.
