CRUISE TO CATALINA chased along the inside latched on the leader early on, got shaken off a bit by that rival and tipped to the two path nearing the half mile pole as that foe took to the inside, remained patiently handled just off the inside through the turn, advanced on the top one and swung four wide into upper stretch let out for the drive, took over command with three-sixteenths to go, edged clear under a drive until geared down inside the final seventy yards to the finish and prevailed safely on the wire. MAGGY'S PALACE chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, went six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick and closed in on the geared down winner near the finish. THE SHOE LADY coaxed from the gate, chased three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. CLOVER STREET chased five then four wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. MAGGIE T established the front and showed the way just off the inside until tucked inside near the half mile pole, came under urging and floated three wide into upper stretch under threat to the outside, got collared with three-sixteenths to run and weakened through to the finish. FOXY CARA chased just off the inside and then along the inside ridden along from the five-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside at the head of the stretch, made no impact.
