Footnotes
NATIONAL ARCHIVE raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, ranged up while two then three wide on the far turn, was roused near the quarter-pole then came four wide into the stretch, rallied to the lead inside the three-sixteenths pole and held under strong urging. LADY WISDOM went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked while three then four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, chased the winner in the drive and finished willingly to just get the place. HEAVENLY LIGHT rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, went three then four wide on the far turn, came six wide into the stretch, rallied outside in the drive and finished with good energy to just miss the place while up for the show. SARATOGA SNOW broke very alertly and went straight to the front, dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, contested the pace on the inside of a foe, was urged along while inside on the far turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, fought to the sixteenth-pole then was outfinished. LEONORA'S SECRET traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, was urged two then three wide on the far turn and lacked the needed kick. I HEARD SOMETHINGS was well placed on the inside, came under urging on the far turn, chased in the stretch, moved out late and also lacked the needed kick. SKY LOW LOW bumped with a rival at the start, went three wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, was asked while two then three wide on the far turn, dropped in outside the eighth-pole, lacked optimal clearance along the rail in the final furlong, brushed the rail late and failed to impact. VINO SAMARA established a forward position early, raced in the three then two path on the first turn, contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the far turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. C C ROULETTE bumped with a rival at the start then bobbled some, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused on the far turn and failed to rally. GABBY'S LEGACY broke a bit slow then ducked in, lagged at the rear while inside to the two path on the turns and was no factor.
