Footnotes
LAW PROFESSOR broke out at the start filling the space left vacant by the breaking outwards INSTANT COFFEE, established the front along the inside soon after and then got out to the two path into the first turn floating rivals three and four wide into that turn, got displaced from the front and tipped out from the inside to be outside the leader into the backstretch, attended that foe latched on from the two path patiently handled, swung three wide into upper stretch, came in a path at the three-sixteenths roused, dug in head to head in game fashion keeping his main rival in tight along the fence and prevailed on the wire. BENDOOG bobbled and was bumped between foes at the start, raced four wide into the first turn and then tucked three then two wide taking over command midway on that bend, tucked inside into the backstretch settling into a comfortably rhythm in hand along the inside, remained patiently handled through to spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, got roused when carried in by the aforementioned foe to the rail at the three-sixteenths, dug in in tight along the fence through the length of the stretch battling on to the finish but was ultimately bested at the end. TABEGUACHE came inwards just after the break and bumped BENDOOG, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. INSTANT COFFEE broke out a step at the start bumping BENDOOG in tandem with TABEGUACHE, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and offered no kick. CLASSIC CATCH four wide into the first turn, tucked three wide midway and then two wide nearing the backstretch, chased just off the inside from the tail of the field, tucked inside through the far turn coming under encouragement at the seven-sixteenths, angled out four wide for home and trailed.
