EPIC SUMMER dueled for the early lead on the inside, then raced in the two path on the turn and vied for command inside a duo by the five sixteenths, made a two to three wide bid off the bend and was clear by the furlong marker and then kicked away to prove best, driving. SCHOOLYARDSUPERMAN dueled with the winner three wide early, then vied for command between rivals by the five sixteenths and came four wide off the bend but could not match strides with the winner while winning the place battle. DARK ASSAULT was up on the pace on the outside, made a four wide bid to vie for command by the five sixteenths, came five wide off the bend but flattened out in the final furlong and lost the place battle. FIGHTFORALLEGIANCE chased the early pace and was four wide on the turn, came six wide into the lane and then moved in through the lane and had a mild late rally. GULFY was off last and ridden along on the inside to track the leaders from the inside by the nine sixteenths, rider continued to be aggressive on the turn and was put to a drive leaving the turn while the left hand but lacked the needed winning bid while being one paced. NEARLY chased the early pace and was two to three wide on the turn, shied or steadied nearing the quarter pole and weakened.
