WITH THE ANGELS drifted out while going to the front, showed the way while well off the inside, dictated terms in the three path on the the turn, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole then came under the crop in upper stretch and proved much the best under steady urging. BOSTON'S PHINEST bumped soundly with a rival at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the four path on the turn, chased the winner in the stretch and was second best. CARMEN'S CANDY JAR moved in and took the paths of rivals leaving the chute, was well spotted while settling off the pace, saved ground while roused on the turn and lacked the needed response while just able to get the show. TRAIL OF GOLD broke a step slow, moved up while urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the five path and just missed the show. VALTELLINA was carried in leaving the chute then steadied near the three-quarter pole, settled off the pace, was urged inside to the two path on the turn and failed to respond. PLAYFUL LASS broke out then bobbled after the start, was carried in leaving the chute then was taken in hand off heels while having her path taken, settled at the rear, was urged in the two then three path on the turn and was no factor. OLIVIA'S WISH bumped soundly with an opponent at the start, was urged along off the pace, dropped back in the three to four path on the turn and faltered.
